Turf is pretty standard these days. Kids grow up playing on it. I have played on a few and coached on them a good bit. Its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be

The only thing i dont like - the heat, and the rubber pellets used as infill (but even that is getting better)

remembered this from years ago and found this on the internet- Former baseball slugger #### Allen once pithily said "if a horse won't eat it, I don't want to play on it ." a reference to playing on artificial turf.

Sounds like season ending. Hate it for the kid. He was a great portal pickup. That walk off against the coots was a thing of beauty.

WELL JUST WHO WOULD YOU PUT THERE. THOSE 2 BATTLED FOR THE STARTING JOB IN THE FALL. HE HAS PLAYED SS HIS WHOLE LIFE. OTHER THAN THE 1ST INNING SATURDAY HE WAS VERY GOOD. IT MOSTLY MESSES UP ROTATIONS AT 1ST AND CATCHER. SOMEBODY AT FIRST NEEDS TO STEP UP.
