Losing Grice and Amick

I think hurt this team more than we think. Grice was a great pitcher and hitter. We miss both his arm and bat. Amick was a good hitter and fielder.
We are going to have to replace a lot of seniors on this year's team.

Amick really isn’t a great fielder. He wouldn’t help this team at all defensively. He was fine at first base, but he’s not a third baseman and basically demanded to play third. We definitely miss his bat though.

Yeah and if bullfrogs had wings, they wouldn't land on their @$$ every time they hopped.
Grice struggled hitting a breaking ball and would not have had a chance against Wake pitching. Grice is also now a full time pitcher in the minors just for that reason. His pitching is missed most of all.
Amick had a tantrum because he didn't play 3rd and wouldn't stick around to compete. Good thing because he still wouldn't be playing 3rd. He has a .892 fielding percentage at TN showing he still can't play 3rd. Looks like Bakish was right on that one.

Amick is still terrified to get in front of a ground ball at Tennessee this year. He is a good DH and nothing more. I’m sure our locker room is way better off without him as well. Definitely a good move by Bakich.

I use my phone not a key “bird” but I get what you’re saying coot. Him and his family had no loyalty to Clemson or the baseball program despite their history with the school. He wanted his way, coach didn’t give it to him, so he bailed on his team and took his ball to Tennessee. They can kick rocks.

TN is not #1 because of his fielding, RBIs, # of hits and runs scored. He is part of it but not carrying the team. Try the #4 ranked team ERA as a starter.
