He is a good player. Injury set him back at UGA right from the start and he got buried on depth chart. I always thought he would be a good player if given the chance and Clemson seems to be a good fit. Guy is very talented with a burst.
Back when he was committing out of high school I was surprised he went to UGA.
My early thoughts on UGA and Clemson game are that it will be a lot closer than experts think. Honestly, Georgia does have more talent and I like Kirby in the coaching department. But, Clemson is good and opening games can be funny. I honestly see a 4-7 point Georgia win, but Clemson certainly can win and I see a game decided in the last part of the 4th quarter.

Can you share where you heard this rumor? Hope its true but we have five RBs on the roster so I am not convinced Dabo would make this move. It would also be a good sign that Dabo is willing to backfill, even a little, from the portal.

I remember thinking we had a great shot with Paul and I think we actually led for him until he committed to UGA. Just not sure Dabo will use the portal for him. And hope you are right on how tight the game will be. Obviously, I hope we win, but UGA is probably most talented team in the country right now.

I would rather Gawga keep him. If I remember correctly, we thought he was ours for certain and he just committed there after a single meeting with Kirby. They tore his knees up and he has been a benchwarmer ever since. We need healthy players who actually want to be here.

He had a choice to be a Tiger or Dog and he chose the latter. I like these kids who see the real picture from the beginning!

I can't see Clemson offering unless one of the current RB's injuries are worse than expected or one of them is leaving.

I don't think Dabo will even consider him. He turned Clemson down and chose to be a leg humper and Dabo has a history of not going after those who reject us for some place else.

Even then I can't see Dabo taking a kid who had a chance to be at Clemson prior to him saying no thank you, I'm going to UGA. IMO he should stay there!!!

So...Dabo should pass on a player who clearly had the talent and character he was looking, solely because the kid previously chose UGA? You see that as good roster management?

unless you've been under a rock, you should know that Dabo rarely, if ever, uses the portal. Keep him.

I couldn't care less if Dabo takes him. I'm curious why someone would think Dabo should pass on him only because the guy initially chose Georgia.

RB is probably a position we actually don’t need anyone which I think would make it even harder for Dabo to offer him again.
Again, I hope we do. Would love to see him in Orange but I would be very very very surprised.

is back. That's about the only thing that has happened these past few season. The Jeff Scott offense would score TDs on 2/3 of the first possessions. That hasn't happened lately but once it does
Clemson and Georgia are the best two teams in the country.

unless someone hits the portal starting today, there is no availability at all on our roster 2) it's unlikely that RB would be a position we would fill with a portal guy if one opens up. 3) He passed on us the first time and has not panned out at UGA. Dabo would be more likely to grab a grad type guy from a lower level if depth got thin due to a RB transfer out. The upper part of the depth chart is set and have another RB coming in next year we are high on.

I’ve said this several times. First team to 20 wins. Look at the history of this series. Would not be shocked at another 10-7 game. Just hope we get the pick six this time. I would be much more surprised by either team scoring 30+.
