What's up with the coots going ape shat over this RS freshman QB they have? They are losing their minds over on their boards over this kid. He is now on Heisman watch with those clowns. Better than Cam Newton, Micheal Vick, etc. I mean they did flip him from Syracuse after all. Is he really any good?

Spencer Rattler was drafted. Haven't seen anything to indicate Cade will do the same.

Think Rattler was the better QB this past season and that he does well in the NFL, but he did get out played by Cade in the head to head a few months ago.

True. But Rattler was playing the CU defense and Cade playing the SCAR defense. Doesn’t seem to be a fair fight.

Kid looks pretty good for them but limited snaps all against Furman and scrubs. Reminds me of Brandon McIlWain or Lorenzo Nunẽz. We all know how those turned, well didnt turn out…. 😂😂😂

He is a big smart QB that can run & pass. Can’t pass as well as Rattler but his size & running ability will be helpful cuz of their poor Oline.

Yall can laugh if you want but this one unfortunately is the real deal.
Saw him at South Florence numerous times and the kid can play. Somebody referenced Lorenzo Nunez… nope not even close.
This kid actually can throw the football with accuracy. I’m not saying he’s going to set the world on fire this year as I’m sure he’ll have a learning curve but if they give him some help he’s going to be a problem.
He’s also a very smart kid. He can play.
Call me coot if you want but I’m going to give the credit when it’s called for bc this one is going to be really good. I was so bummed when he flipped from Syracuse to SC a couple years ago around signing day.
He would have made Syracuse better for sure but SC does have better athletes than Syracuse and as we’ve all seen firsthand… when you get the QB right… it makes life so much easier on everybody else.

I live in Florence. He is definitely a good football. Guided his team to back to back state championship game and winning it his junior year..not sure about his quarterback skills but time will tell...

Just more of their usual pre-season grandiose delusions and over-exaggerated optimism because...well...it's just what they do and, as usual, they're just setting themselves up for disappointment (which is always fun to watch). Frankly, I don't care who they roll out there at QB. They're going to struggle to win five games.

A QB is only as good as their O-line and they don't have a good one. They always, always play up their QB before the season starts. He will be good against weak teams but that is where it ends.

A freshman QB with what is expected to be a bad OL plus limited talent at WR does not bode well for them regardless of his level of talent. Their only hope is to pound the rock.
