We lost mom Sunday night. Real quick at the end. She was up talking to the Hospice nurse and signing paperwork on Friday afternoon. She was laying in a bed unable to talk and move by Saturday evening. She spent 3 years fighting Stage IV Ovarian Cancer, almost to the day, April 2019 to April 2022. It was really peaceful though, resting at home with all her kids and grandkids around her. She spent 2014ish through 2020 taking care of her mom and then my dad. She was sweet and tough, kind and mean as he>ll at the same time. She was an incredible woman and words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Hug your loved ones a little tighter, you never know how much time you have left with them.
