Great to see this for all those who wanted to bash Nuk for his petition request this week.

Exactly.
As I have said before, Nuk strikes me as a very serious, very thoughtful, very passionate person. He seems to come by his opinions after much thought. Because of that, I have a ton of respect for him and his opinions. When I don't agree with what he says, he at least makes me think, and think, and think. We need more people like that.

I'm not quite sure how you found it in yourself to put

those two together in the same post, but I have a feeling somewhere inside you is some deep seated resentment towards people different from you.
BTW, I grew up playing on those fields in Central, graduated from Daniel, and then graduated from Harvard. I can pretty much guarantee you that whatever is going on with Lindsey Graham has nothing to do with the experiences Deandre Hopkins has had in his life. I was there before Deandre but I played ball with all the boys from around there ('76 to '84) and I can tell you I watched the affects of racism and poverty consume every one of my more talented teammates over time. Fortunately since then several have made it out and received degrees and beyond.
You are flat wrong to speak as if you have any idea about Deandre's experiences.
However, if you know something about Lindsay, maybe you should share it...

Very well said. I think we can all agree that Nuk’s experiences give him a point of view that many of us will never have, and he has articulated that point of view respectfully. I think what many has Clemson alum disturbed, myself included, is that we know he is right and the status quo is indefensible. It’s time for change.

I am grateful for every play that i watched Nuk play. I am not sure why you think Nuk is ungrateful, he earned everything he got from Clemson, he earned everything he has. I did not earn the right to watch one of the greatest receivers of all time play the game, for that i am grateful and will listen to anything he has to say about racism at Clemson or in SC or in Houston... He has earned the right to speak about the struggles he has known in his life and we should listen out of respect for the man he has become.

4th and 16 pass and catch play by Tajh and Nuk is what put Clemson over the hump in college FB!!! That play, I believe is what led us to 2 NC wins, played in 4 NC games, and we have been in every college FB playoff game except for 1. Nuk made his mark at Clemson!!!

He does not need to make any amends, and I am glad Nuk came out with a clearing comment.

A great step, but redemption for Clemson and beyound comes from the heart. Maybe our best receiver ever, but his legacy depends on his heart, not words, imo. Reach deep young man to see what really matters

That irked him about Sammy, etc.
Once you get a chance to be around some NFL coaches I’m sure Dabo is a saint by comparison.
