I've watched, listened and read so many player and coach responses to the ND game (and the season for that matter), including this one by Barrett Carter, and I continue to ask the same questions: Where is the heart and pride of this team? Where is the leadership? Where's the emotion?? Carter and several other players consistently say over and over that ND was the better team. I agree ND was the better team because it was obvious they wanted it. We have just as much talent, maybe even more across the board, but we were not on the same level emotionally... not even close. And it looks like that same care-free attitude remains this week during the press conferences.
The same applies to the coaching too. Offensively are we going to continue calling the same plays over and over? That bubble screen is a joke. If it's not working, change it! Streeter is just in over his head I guess. Our receivers look like they're giving maybe 80%... maybe. Poor attempts at blocking and their routes look like they're jogging. Without any separation any QB's going to struggle. DJ may look good during practice, but he's an average QB at best during games. Dabo should have never put Cade in the situation he did and he definitely should not have pulled him when he did. If DJ comes back next year, it won't surprise me if we lose Cade to the portal.

Agree, after last Saturday, it is hard to see past it…

…some people on this board said they saw this coming.
How can you say that you foresaw this #4 ranked team was going to get pummeled into absolute submission, in an unforgiving fashion, and then, get pounded some more just for good measure? I didn’t see it coming.
I actually started feeling better about the Tigers chances as the week came to a close.

Because they weren’t really a #4 team. That’s how.***

My take is the team has taken on the mindset of the coaching staff. It's a country club and amusement park complete with jet skis and a slide.

Saturday will be very telling. We can huff our own farts about culture, but a big part of that is how we respond when the chips are down and everyone seems against us.
The interviews don’t mean much to me, but I want to see a defense that comes out hyped and an OL that is ready to mash. Pound it with Shipley and it won’t matter who is at QB.

If Carter thinks he’s seen the last of that ND game film…

…he’d better think again.
That game film will be the FIRST film an NFL scout will look at, just to see what kind of an offensive lineman can push him, Bresee, & Murphy around.
After seeing that game film, maybe, just maybe, the scout is willing to look at some positive highlights.

They’re a one man offense, spy him and not just contain him but run right at him….LSU effecting shut down Bama’s QB doing that…..he made ONE good play eluding LSU’s spy.

I'm sure none of the T-net posters give a rip what I do or think, but I am sick and tired of reading the posts of the faux sports psychologists who can read the comments of a coach or player and decide that he is not mean enough, physical enough, caring enough, sincere enough - you name it. The majority of those posting here have certainly missed their calling - they could be making a fortune reading tea leaves and telling athletes and coaches what they need to do to win every game they play. That said, I'm done reading the negative comments on his site - not that anyone should care. But if someone out there is so fed up with this team and wants to give away their remaining tickets, would you please let me know. And parking passes will be be accepted as well. Go Tigers.

It is frustrating but there has been a faction on here that have been negative all along and just waiting to be able to say I told you so. It’s the group Dabo was referring to when he said there were people wanting to see DJ fail. They want to see any failure so they can pounce. They want to be Finebum when they grow up. It must be a terrible way to go through life.

The only real way to contain Cunningham is to have 2 defensive p[layers "spy" on him every play and control him. If the D Doesn't control him, he will run wild and Louisville will win the game. Now I guess we'll see if the D Coaches are smart enough to control him. I'm sure there are other schemes that can work. The question is, will the coaches be determined enough to see that he is controlled by some method. "Turn him loose and we will lose."
