Wow, just wow. QB recruiting has reached all the way down

to 7th and 8th graders now. Just imagine how NIL will have blanketed college football by the time THOSE kids are actually ready to play at that level. Somehow, a juxtaposed quote comes immediately to mind":
"We have met the Enemy, and they are US!"

Don’t have a clue where this young man will go, I would love for him to come to Clemson but can’t see him not playing in the SEC

No it’s a list of players that renewed the subscription to playboy magazine

Comedy is underrated and that made me laugh. Thanks. It's also tough sometimes when somebody asks a really stupid question not to be a complete smart ### and I sure don't blame you.

Would these kids even know what Playboy is?
All they have to do is jump on the internet to see it.
“Oh I used to read it for the articles.”??

Might be the first time to have recruits named JoJo AND JuJu on campus at the same time.

The Best NIL deal where be a huge influence on his decision

I've read where AM is expected to fetch over one million per year in NIL money. Unless the local Clemson fatcats can compete with Texas Oil money or other areas with really deep pockets I'm not sure how much of a chance we have in getting Manning.

Clemson got its 5 star QB a national deal with Dr. Pepper and a regional deal with Bojangles.
I'm not saying Clemson will go toe to toe with Texas oil money, but NIL isn't reserved to local businesses supporting the players when the players are nationally known coming out of high school.

Believe it or not, money may not be the most important issue for a Manning. I know Cooper isn't as well off as his brothers, but he's still more wealthy than your average Joe. That said, Georgia or Texas look the most likely for Manning at the moment. Still, he could always fall in love with Clemson this weekend and he should see the opportunity for instant playing time.

Crowdfunding. We need to do crowdfunding.
A service like IPTAY, but funds go to a NIL program. Monthly subscription. Bet the fans could put up a million a year easily. 17,000 fans, $5 a month. Done.

You may be on to something....
I would also like to think that some of the larger corporations in the upstate could be business to cozy up to in the coming months/years.

Difficult to pull a player out of Texas? Haha, clearly you don't keep up with Texas recruiting. A good portion of Texas players leave the state and the Texas Longhorns have commits from 9 out of state recruits. Clemson has a QB commit out of Texas and a starting true freshman safety out of Texas. Over the years, the SEC has pulled a lot of stars out of the state as has Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and so many others.
That's just a comment that isn't correct at all or even close.

You have a habit of saying things without actual knowledge of what you’re talking about? Do you have Tourette’s or are you just slow?

I have seen Cade Klubnik and Arch Manning live. Both are good but in my opinion Cade is better. Arch is a good QB, but (in my opinion) I believe his last name gives him too much credit and he is overrated. Cade plays 6A Texas and Arch plays 4A in Louisiana. I am from LA originally and lived in Texas. There is a big difference in competition. In the end, I do not believe we will get Arch because Cade is coming the year before him and he is not going to want to sit out. I could be wrong, who knows!

As I've stated many times. Imho, I could give a rats behind about Arch. Wish the kid well. I do want us to impress all the other recruits. Loud and proud.
A couple signs for the other kids saying we want you would be wonderful. Come on students. They can relate to you.

I've also seen them both live and Arch is not overrated by any means. He was playing a really good team out of Florida last week and outran a very fast team 70 plus yards for a TD. He's got a rocket for an arm and has a great head on his shoulders. He's far from overrated, but he's definitely benefiting from his name. Cade is more fiery than most. He's undersized compared to some QB, but can run and throw. He's also benefiting from a great system that's put out numerous QBs including Sam Ehlinger and a bunch at Southlake Carroll.
Arch is probably not coming to Clemson, so it doesn't even matter anyway.

If there is anything we've learned lately...

1) You can't have enough talent at QB.
2) This kid has a special arm. The noise it makes when it comes out of his hand is different. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-uCxjvrxaE). He's got a monster arm, and you just don't hear a zip like that out of anyone.
3) When you get a recruit like this, with a name like Manning, there are going to be other kids who want to come play with him and be on that team. It's a boost to recruiting for sure!
4) It would be good to have people like Peyton or Eli stopping around and watching practice and games. I'll take that publicity.

When you just had the prettiest girl on campus spend the weekend with them. Now you gotta have corporate reps and accountants and crap like that.

What strikes me is that we have no 2022 recruits in town. Though we have done pretty well to this point it looks like we are not in the running for any more major recruits.
Dabo's defense for not using the portal has always been that our recruits were better than anyone that we could get out of the portal and I agree with that in past years. I wonder if he will look to the portal this year since the back end of this recruiting class is looking kind of weak.
