Should Clemson move to the SEC, E$ECPN will still

Give the same treatment towards Clemson as an institution. Changing the logo on the uniforms will not remove the ill will towards Clemson from big media and the powers that be.

For this reason alone, I say f 'em and let's go to the B1G. Don't want to be part of the SEC/Disney circle jerk.

Disney owns both ESPN and Fox, they bought all of fox in 2019 for 71 billion, "disney" is owned by some of the worlds most wonderful companies like blackrock, statestreet and vanguard.

Fox sports is owned by fox Corp not Disney. Disney acquired some of fox and the rest belongs to fox Corp. I think fox Corp mostly has the sports and news and Disney has entertainment and movies.

Blackrock owns 15.1% of the Fox Corporation. They are the second largest owner, just after the Murdock family.
Now, the Family Trust Murdoch still owns 19% of the company, with other, smaller institutional investors owning the rest. The CEO of the Fox Corporation was Rupert Murdoch, but it is currently Lachlan Murdoch.
BUT with this increase in 2.7% of Fox Corp, it is clear that Blackrock is fast becoming a controlling entity in Fox Corporation.
Together, BlackRock and Vanguard own 18% of Fox (now almost 21%), 16% of CBS, 13% of Comcast — which owns NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and the Sky media group, 12% of CNN, and 12% of Disney — which owns a number of subsidiaries. Media behemoths that may present themselves as rivals are, in reality, owned by the same company.

And THEY are all owned by the cabal...all of this its being laid out to the sheeple in a way for them to slowly get their heads around. Some of us have known all of this for years...welcome to the movie, you've simply been fed a ###### your entire lives.
Enjoy the show.

Say what you want about the coverage Clemson gets, the first chance the media get to bring back the "c" word they will jump all over it.

I think I've moved to the Big 10 camp. This weekend did me in.
I was watching the LSU/Ole Miss and they started talking about Texas football, and how their (TX) defense is already up to "SEC Standards".
Let me say that again...During the LSU/OLE MISS football game, they were talking about SEC Defenses...
I'm not sure I will be able to take their talking points every week.

if they started talking about good defense, it would make an appearance during the Ole Miss/LSU game.

Here’s the thing: after we move to the SEC we still get to hate each and every one of those schools, just a little more in person. Plus we get the recruiting bump likewise poll bump. Just go a minimum of 10-2 every year and be one of 12-16 in the playoffs. Every 5 years go undefeated and be the top seed with a bye.

The last 2.5 seasons haven't been the best but I do not think the narrative is negative becasue of Clemson, Dabo, or the players.
If Clemson leaves the ACC and joins the SEC or B1G:
The narrative immediately changes in the media and it will change the perspective of the masses. It is not a reflection of Clemson, but a reflection on the life suckers of the ACC. Clemson, until this season, has been the only narrative that could be pushed that isn't tired and worn out.
Texas is a prime example. After it was announced that Texas would join the SEC, they suddenly had a pulse. They were in the midst of a fall from grace. Now, ESPN can't sing their praises enough. The recruiting has been better the last two cycles and they are in the top 5.
Bo Nix, a SEC quarterback, was overlooked when he transferred to Oregon. Now that Oregon is headed to the B1G, suddenly he is amazing. Granted, his numbers are better but it is still against the same defenses that ESPN was making fun of last year.
The narrative isn't so much about Clemson, as it is about the ACC. When you have two grown children who have become succesful and you marry someone with a child who is just okay, you are nice to them but don't go out of your way.
Before you all get offended, I am in no way saying Clemson is the cause for the ACC being the okay stepchild. Clemson is pretty much the only reason the ACC got the Media deal.
Since Miami, VT, Louisville, Pitt, and BC joined the ACC, what the heck have they done for the national narrative.
Notre Dame, who doesn't count for football but sucks up the ACC revenue, at best has been Clemson in the Tommy Bowden days. Win games they shouldn't and tease the national audience and then lose game they have no business losing.
Florida State has been hanging by a thread for almost a decade.
How many times combined has Pitt, Miami, BC or Louisville truly threatened the national narrative? Sure, a couple ACC titles sprinkled in, but that is it.
If it wasn't for the ressurgence of Clemson, the ACC would be in shambles. Now, UNC, Duke, FSU and Miami are playing decent football, thank God, but it doesn't erase the bad taste that was put into the mouths of people by ESPN.

Clemson needs to stay CLEMSON. They already have the respect of college football media and fans. They really don’t need to prove anything. They ALREADY have! All football media shows mention Clemson. Even when the Tigers got off to a poor start this year the media never stopped talking about the Tigers. Finishing this season as a top flight team is all our Tigers need to do. They WILL NOT be forgotten by any of the media. There are Tiger haters out there in the media who are awaiting our team to fail. Dabo knows this and I guarantee you he has addressed this with his players and coaches. I’m looking for this team to improve with every game remaining. Expect to see a little different team this weekend. And for each remaining game. Go Tigers.
