Very nice. I’m plann(gn on planting some this weekend. You’re giving Augusta National a run for their money. Keep rocking the garden.

Back in the day (90's), I used to get my azalea's from Leavell's Nursery in Newberry. At one point, I had 200+ planted in the yard. It was a cul-de-sac lot that backed up to woods on 1 side with a lot of pines on that side. I loved it when they bloomed in the spring.

Lovely! The first one looks like Delaware Valley White? The other two look familiar too.

I love Spring but I am tired of all this pollen and now the dang tent caterpillars are swarming my oaks and dropping poo everywhere. Washed my truck 10x in 6wks and its still looks pollenated, then add all the oak tassels falling after the rain and it looks like its been parked for a year. Just seems worse this year to me?
But nice pics Clover!

If you don’t have to deal with those oak thingys in a pool daily- you haven’t learned to hate them yet!

My wife bought some beautiful potted purple Hydrangeas to put in our church

a couple of weeks ago. They are still surviving and thriving in those pots in our dining area right now.
Growing up, my mom had a couple of large hydrangea bushes, one on either side of the front steps going up to our front porch. Due to the acidic pH of the soil there, those bloomed a vibrant, bright BLUE. Pink Azaleas flanked them on the sides, all the way to the outer edge of the porch.
When the house burned to the ground in 1977, all those beautiful flowering plants got incinerated as well, along with a Riverbirch tree that was on the side of the house. Having those Hydrangeas in the house now brings back the memory of those beauts from those days.
Whenever people muse about time travel, where would they go, and what would they do? I have no doubt, I would want to go back to June 1977, and find out what caused that house to burn down. Unless you have experienced it, you cannot comprehend the overwhelming sense of loss that comes with an experience like that.
Sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread, carry on!
