But they’re not too happy with Napier at Florida, Jeff Scott, Chad Morris at Arkansas, Chansi Stuckey, Elliott not looking too good

In all fairness to Dabo.....Napier was fired after 1 season. Plus, he's still HC @ Florida.
Honestly, I'm not sure why anyone even brings it up. If you're really searching for things to nitpick...
Otherwise...it's fair to say they all got HC opportunities because of their success coaching under Dabo.

Is how he got the UF job. Morris inherited a #### show at SMU and had them headed in the right direction in a few years which is how he landed the Arkansas job. Probably wasn’t given enough time there due to change in scheme. Most of these guys aren’t being given time given the approach they are taking and the types of situations/programs they are walking into.

at Arkansas. That doesn't deserve more time.

Yeah I agree with you, just mentioning that this is what they say instead of recognizing his successful feats.
I really don’t know what it is. I think they just work better together in combination under a head coach like Dabo to control the motivational aspects.

Not everyone is cut out to be a head coach. Venables is going to be successful but the others have proven to be more successful in Dabos established system than they are at building their own

Coaching trees are way over-rated.

Nah. Look at Holgrems staff from the Packers. I believe tbat CEO type coaches do not have great coaching tree's. The X and O coaches tbat specialize on 1 side if the ball have better tree's. I think that could be statically proven.

Coaching trees mean nothing. Most of Vince Lombardi's assistants later landed head coaching jobs, but none were winners.

If he had many super successful ex-assistant coaches people would say he only wins because of his assistants.
