Hall's Chophouse.

No bueno. Went last night. Split a dry-aged KC bone-in strip. Lord was it bad. Mashed potatoes from a box.
Steakhouses get good pub, then up their game and prices, then get lazy then just plain bad.
Nevermind the too-loud, amateur-hour three-piece cover band.
Avoid.

Which location? I’ve found Charleston to be the best. Not even close really.

Me too. The Charleston location is awesome! One of my favorite spots. Now, I can understand if he is referring to the Columbia location. It’s hard to get anything right there.

Overpriced bunch of nothing. Outlaw Ribeye at Longhorn just as tasty!***

Maybe a bad night? Has always been great for us. Charleston is better, but always good in Greenville

Somehow, Inhave never tried them (went when the location was “High Cotton”). Step around the corner and go to Rick Erwin’s. I have dined there for our anniversary for at least the last 10 years. I always order their Ribeye, and It’s always been very good.

I can’t speak to Halls Chophouse, it’s out of my price range but the Waffle House has good service and the food is consistent

Anyone been to Chophouse in Summerville? Curious how that compares to Charleston.
I wouldn't mind trying the one downtown but don't wanna deal with downtown crowded if I can help it 😂

It’s good. Hall’s is my brother’s fav and they live in Nexton and forego the trip downtown for it. Nothing negative yet. I’ve been once and it was great.
I will say the staff downtown is a bit more tenured and it gives it a nice feel. It’s definitely worth the experience. The food is excellent but they gonout of their way to make sure the service sells it.

The one in downtown Charleston is good, but it’s not worth what you pay. You’re mainly paying for being seen.
The Millpond over by Camden puts Hall’s to shame and it’s not even close.
