geez - look at his resume and who he has worked with and players he has coached. League experience as well. He didn’t leave here because he was fired or not successful. He left here for Bama and they proceeded to win a couple NCs while there. Before we had even hit our stride.

It's also a fact that he changes jobs every 15 minutes.

So if we don’t win the national championship next year it will be easy to move on from him. Just what a bunch of downers will want.

making claims WITHOUT providing links
He burnt bridges, wouldn't want him.
THAT SAID
Dabo didn't call and ask my opinion. If was to think it's the move as the HC he wants to make, he's the HC.

And every time someone else comes knocking, he leaves. Look at his track record, he doesn’t stay anywhere long. That would be a great sale to the recruits. . .You are going to be coached by a great position coach, but we are not sure how long he will be here but most likely he won’t be here for your full 3-4 years.

Yeah he also tried to poach our recruits telling them “you’ll never win anything meaningful at Clemson”. He can stay in Minnesota.

Since leaving Clemson, he's been with Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and then onto the NFL with the Texans, Bears and Vikings. Not a bad resume.
His 06-10 stint was the longest stay at any one of those teams. I vaguely remember some bad talk/mud smearing when he arrived at Bama.

so he couldn’t compete for Natty. 5-6 year after he left, Dabo proved Clemson could too. All of that was 13 years ago. Not much to it then and certainly not now.

That’s what, 6 jobs in 12 years? To me, as someone who has hired and fired many people, that’s a red flag. Like a gigantic one.

Well, Clemson fans want someone with no ties to Dabo or Clemson, and lots of outside experience….and now we’ve got it. No ties, often means no reason to stay and always looking for the next best thing. It’s hard to have it both ways. Loyalty without in connection to the school or head coach is rarer

Just curious, does Dabo not have a budget to work with. The amount of failed hires and having to honor their contracts , vs hiring new coaches to replace the failed hires? Seems as if he has checkbook with a balance of “ just do whatever and we’ll pay for it”

Do you realize how much money Dabo has brought to Clemson? Look at attendance, look at the endowment etc. Dabo's ROI is incredible

Calling you out for being an asskisser is devoid of anything to do with being "sharp." Kinda like when you told a poster how close Durham was to Winston Salem or when you tried to sound "sharp" discussing military A/C, 😂 only to make stuff up that you got called out on yet again. 😂

I’d challenge you too look at number of “ support staff”. I get your mindset no one attends Clemson without Dabo, but the amount of “support staff” in the budget has to raise the alarm to someone. Hiring practices of your CEO has to be evaluated by stockholders, and honestly, you’d be a blind man to not realize Dabo has a less than impressive hiring history the last 4 yrs

It's not a mindset, it's called a green light. They know Dabo's return on investment far exceeds any "staffer" budget. You're just too small-minded for this sort of discussion.

He's had one miss in Austin and chose to jump from Streeter to the Broyles Award winner with Riley. What other misses are we talking about that Clemson would owe severance for contract termination?

I would hardly consider streeter a miss, since he did significantly better than Riley.

That was my first reaction. Maybe he doesn't like working under Flores or he's all but certain Flores is going to move on after this season? Or, and this would be by first thought if I were Rumph: HOLY SHNARKLES IT'S COLD UP HERE!!!!!

So what's up with the personal leave from the Vikings? I still want him, but if he is having issues how will tbat affect recruiting? Hopefully he is comihome to finish his coaching career at Clemson. Dabo is so family friendly with his staff members that this seems to be the preferred spot for a lot of coaches. The work life balance from Dabo is unparalleled!!
