3 of their best players haven’t had a very good start to the season offensively. It was bound to catch up with them.

The Braves for some reason or another have had good luck against all the other teams in the Major Leagues on their home fields but when it comes to playing in Los Angeles at Dodger stadium that is a totally different story as they are lucky to get 1 win if any in the series

Right now, they just flat out are not hitting the ball. They can't seem to string together hits.

Olson, Acuna and Riley's numbers are way down and they still have one of the best records in MLB. If those 3 get turned around, it'll be smooth sailing.

I think we are better off not winning the division honestly, we will be fine just get in and not have that break and get hot at the right time .

Did we peak too soon in 2023?

I.E. losing is not fun and I don't like it "ever"!
But, looking at the big picture and ultimate goal, I would rather the Braves hit their stride in August/September and October!

Stay attached and don't get so far behind that making the playoffs is out the picture. But, get hot at the right time and "we are right where we want to be in 2024"!

IMO I don’t think we peaked too soon last year, look at all the top seeds that went down that were dominant for much of 162 games . There’s a def correlation between what happened and the teams that had a longer break. You don’t need a break in baseball that’s the worst sport to take off, it’s not like football or basketball. MLB needs to fix this I mean they play 162 games that should matter… it should VERY difficult to make It through the playoffs as a wild card. Example would be you play the wild card play in game early say thurs and you are on a plane that night and play fri night at wherever you are seeded to play. I also just think we have guys that haven’t shown up in the playoffs and that needs to change , acuna being the main one.
