After watching Saturday's game, I was happy with the final.

We had several starters out on defense and was tickled to see Adam Randall on the field. I really enjoyed the catch N'Gata made and the continued progress of DJ and Williams. Yes, we have room to improve but, I sense all teams can say that. Then I really screwed up. I came on TNET and have read posts with people digging deep to find something negative to say. Man, I remember the not-so-good 90's and praying for an ACC championship or a ten win season under Bowden. And now, if we don't blow teams out, people hunt to find something to "Witch" with a "B" about. I'm going this weekend to my first ever ACC away game and I'm going to enjoy it. I don't care if we win by one or twenty plus points, as long as we win and everyone has a safe ride home.

celebrated an undefeated home season in 1974. I hate the fact that some fans have become so spoiled that a win sux? Any win is a good win and I don't care if it's by 1 or by 58. It's hard to win on a regular basis.

I was one of them. Had the commemorative Pepsi bottle for the undefeated home season!

And now, if we don't blow teams out, people hunt to find something to "Witch" with a "B" about. LOL. I got off of TNET a few minutes before the start of the game. Knowing the tendency of those types of posts, I didn't bother getting back on until Sunday. It's unreal.

Have to disagree with you on some of that. I personally don't want to go back to those days being celebrated and used as a standard. The standard has been set and the bar raised. I have no problems with posters and fans wishing to see that standard continue and even raised.
Yes, 1 point or 50 doesn't change the W to a L. But, again, no problem pointing out the obvious and whereas the offense has shown some improvement, it's still clunky. And before someone says it, TL and DW4 had clunky games but you knew what they were capable of. We'll know a lot more after our next 3 games.

Those three LA Tech blowouts during the Bowden era spoiled me. Maybe this means we'll blow out Wake Forest instead.

I totally agree with your post. We have become spoiled and entitled. Though I do agree the standard is higher with all we have available . I rewatched the game last night and there were 2-3 plays early on that we got unlucky on. Otherwise this game was a blow out. We didn't play near as bad as I thought we did while I was actually at the game. We also have 2 very young coordinators at probably the wrong time as we have loads of talent. But you know. Coach V had some bad games his first year. Saturday was a beautiful day and really showcased why our school is so special. Thick or thin bubba. Go Tigers Class of 82
