Does Streeter watch the NFL?

There are some really innovative offenses from these new young coaches. He could add some real spark to the playbook by conferring with LaFeur, McVay, Shanghai, Mike McDaniels. So much fun to watch.

It's interesting to see how the innovation pendulum swings back & forth from College to the NFL.
You never used to see spread formations on Sunday but now almost every NFL runs something in that fashion at least occasionally.
It's exciting to see the new generation of NFL coaches. This time of year is pretty cool in the NFL.

It just so happens that my favorite pro team is the 49ers, and they're having a really good year ... actually a pretty good run ever since Shanahan was hired. They had a potent rushing offense even BEFORE McCaffrey was signed with journeymen RBs. We kept the offense rush-oriented, even getting the ball to our receivers on end arounds, tosses, and gadget plays, but executed the passing game well enough with a quarterback (Garropolo) who was deemed unable to complete a deep ball.
We (Clemson) just completed a two-year stint with a handicapped quarterback. Tell me we couldn't have used some of the 49ers stuff to get some yardage. Even innovative plays that failed to produce big gains could keep me more excited than watching snap ... 1 ... 2 ... 3 ... sack.
We (49ers) are looking even more impressive with Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy throwing the pigskin. One play last Saturday is ingrained in my mind forever. Fake pass to the flat at the QB's left flat, 180º spin and fake pass to the QB's right flat, then right up the middle of the field to the TE Kittle for a 30-yard score. Man that was beautiful.
I really hope the playbook gets wide open with CK2 and we're praising Streeter next year as much as we criticized him this year.

A thing of beauty. And all of the motion freezes the pass rush and gives Purdy a clean pocket and all the time he needs.

Having a QB now that can grasp and execute the playbook will be the difference between night and day. The sun is shinning, we’ll be Clemson again on offense.

But just ignore facts if they stand in your way of thinking, huh V-Boy?
Come to think of it, a more apt handle for you would be BUBBLE-boy. You can thank me later.

That's a slick way of glossing over the obvious strides our offense made this season.
PS: I think it's pretty clear that scheme wasn't our issue.

I tend to think "scheme" was a large part of out problem. CK appears capable of masking some of that moving forward...
