I live in the Lowcountry of Sc and I hope we beat the brakes off UK. I don’t really have anything bad to say about them or Stoops, but if I have to hear another SEC homer tell me how Clemson would finish in the middle of the pack were they to ever join the SEC this game should quiet them for a little while longer. Not really sure how many times beating top level teams or the Shamecocks can shut them up. GO TIGERS!!

I see where they come from though since mostly all we ever play and beat is their conference door mat

It’s a freaking GAUNTLET, top to bottom, every year.
Non-SEC teams would literally die if they had to play an SEC schedule.
Everyone knows this.
I loved how Mizzou came in with their Big XII “defense” and two years later won the SEC East.

Considering the last five years we are 4-4 against the SEC, this is a big game

I personally hope that Cade can play a better game than he has played all season bc honestly, I haven't been all that impressed with the way he has played this season to this point, and I'm more than ready to see him perform in a way that his talent should allow him to perform. Go Cade, rip the Kentucky D apart!!!

It’s a great bowl for them but an underwhelming bowl for us. We can add to the winning record for the ACC.
Having said that we need to win. We will have depth issues at corner losing Wiggins and Pride.
I wish people got as hyped up last year about FSU beating LSU (who won the sec West last year), as they did for Kentucky upsetting Louisville this year. FSU finished I think third in the Atlantic, LSU lost to a much better UGA team last year than this year.
I don’t recall any espn talking heads flapping their gums about the sec being weak last year. It’s even weaker this year.

Clemson would be a top-tier team in the SEC. Having conceded that, you really think Clemson beating a team the two best in the SEC beat by a combined 100-34 is going to change anyone's perspective?

Until a change of conference happens, nobody can say how we would stack up. If football is all you care care about, I would rather take my chances against, Syracuse, Pitt, Wake, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Virginia Tech than against Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

We lived in London KY in the late 80s. Most backwards place I’ve ever seen and we’ve lived in a bunch of different places.

We have a place on Lake Cumberland. The people in that area of the country are more genuine than 95% of the people you’ll encounter in major metros. They don’t have time for BS, and a lot of people mistake that for “backwards”. No different than Pickens country used to be before the great Winkopp gentrification.
