by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson receiver Tee Higgins did not come out of the locker room immediatly after halftime of the Clemson-Florida State game.

Freshman playmaker Joe Ngata started in his place in the first series in the third quarter.

At the 11:30 mark left in the third quarter, Higgins walked out in street clothes with a gray t-shirt and orange sweatpants.

Official word - WILL NOT RETURN. Any additional info will come from Coach Dabo Swinney postgame.

Update: Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott told the media that Higgins' hamstring tightened up on him. He should be OK moving forward.

Update 2: Dabo Swinney: "Tee Higgins strained his hamstring and we pulled him out. He told coaches it tightened up a bit. Other than that we came out pretty good health-wise."
