Clemson releases Friday update on Auburn game, Hurricane Irma

Clemson officials released the following statement Friday afternoon regarding Hurricane Irma and the home game versus Auburn that is scheduled for a 7:02 kickoff time Saturday night.

"Clemson Athletics officials have continued to monitor the situation around Hurricane Irma and work with law enforcement, weather and public safety personnel to receive updates on the path of the storm. We continue have no changes to previously announced schedules - kickoff time remains at 7 p.m. – and we do not anticipate any changes tomorrow.

We continue to ask all fans traveling to the area to be patient and plan for possible extended time getting into and out of town on gameday."
