by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson center Landry Nnoko will play with the Miami Heat's summer league team according to multiple reports.

Nnoko had an exceptional 2017-2018 season in the G-League winning the league's Defensive Player of the Year Award which was voted on by the league's 26 head coaches and general managers.

During the season, he averaged 14.7 points, 11.5 rebounds (2nd in league), and 2.06 blocks (3rd in league) per game.

This is not his first stint in the NBA Summer League as he played for the Detroit Pistons in 2017.

Nnoko made the All-ACC defensive team as a senior at Clemson, leading the ACC with 2.3 blocked shots per game and adding 5.7 rebounds.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that his former Clemson teammate K.J. McDaniels was added to the Portland Trailblazers' summer team.
