Team Notes • Clemson posted 21 assists versus only five turnovers Friday. The assist mark was one off Clemson’s high of 22 under Brad Brownell, which occurred in 2012-13 against SC State. • Eleven of the 12 available players for the Tigers scored in the opener, including walk-on

The 2012-13 team forced 25 in a win over The Citadel. • Clemson had six blocks in the opener. The Tigers averaged six per game last season in leading the ACC. • The 45-point margin of victory was Clemson’s largest in a season opener since the 2007-08 team defeated Furman 91-46 on Nov. 12. • Clemson is now 29-2 under Brownell when holding the opposition to 50 points or less. He won his 75th game as the Tigers’ head coach this evening. • The Tigers held Florida A&M without a three-point field goal, the first time Clemson pitched a shutout in that area since a game against Furman on Dec. 13, 2009.
