Former Clemson two-sport standout
Kyle Parker
Kyle Parker Parker is currently batting .280 with nine home runs, 53 runs, 19 doubles, four triples and 58 RBIs in 93 games at Triple-A Albuquerque. Parker will be reunited with former Clemson teammate
Ben PaulsenBen Paulsen In 2014, Parker was called up three times and had only 26 total at-bats while batting .192 with one double and an RBI. "He'll get an opportunity to get some more consistent playing time than he had in the past," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said via MLB.com. "It's always tough when your at-bats are hit-or-miss. He's done a good job this year, and he got better as the year went on and put himself in position for this." Parker will see playing time at first base and in the outfield. He was drafted by the Rockies with the 26th overall pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.
