The official Clemson Athletics Twitter account posted a picture on Tuesday of the Clemson and South Carolina mascots at the South Carolina statehouse to introduce the 'Palmetto Series'.

According to a press release, leadership from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA), the University of South Carolina and Clemson University will gather for a press conference on Tuesday, August 4 in the State House rotunda to officially launch the inaugural Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series. The competition is presented by SCDA in an effort to support local farms and farmers.
