internally, in the locker room, on the practice field, etc. Don't you think it funny that McKeen hasn't played football anymore since he left USC?? He was a 4 star recruit.

the day after the arrest he made a much more definitive statement than he did with Garcia. that's all that needs to be said.

I don't think it's too terribly big of a deal. I, for one, seem to think he's guilty of it, mainly because he's already been arrested and transported to the Richland County jail.
But personally, if I were a Gamecock fan, I'd be rooting for Smelley to play. He's been in school a year without getting in trouble. And a lot of GC fans seem to forget he was a 4 star out of high school too. He's just not a high profile like Garcia was because he didn't run his mouth in the media about how good he was.
So other than a team distraction, I don't think it will be an issue, since Smelley should have the step up on him in regards to the depth chart.

We are lucky enough right now, I think, to have 2 very capable if not very good QBs for 07. If Garcia needs to get, and ends up getting the boot, I think we can land another good one next year and turn the signal calling over to Smelley for a couple of years.
Botom line... I think USC is in good shape with QBs as of today. That SHOULD give Spurrier the ability to take proper action with Garcia if this turns out to be true.

I actually agree with you 100%. Smelley has earned his chance to play...I really supported Garcia after that first arrest, but I can't support him if he would do something like this, may be a prank in someone's eyes, but not in mine. If he did this, that's only the beginning...as much as I hate to say it.

to decide if Spurrier runs that school or someone else. It is way out of line to refer to that professor as a "kid." If he does not get a reprimand of some kind, they are digging themselves a big hole is dealing with Spurrier from a power stand point.
