Tiger Fans,
I bear no ill will towards the Tigers of Clemson. In fact, Clemson is my second favorite team and my grandfather played football as fullback under the LEGENDARY Clemson coach- Frank Howard.
That being said, I have it on good accordance that the Tigers of Clemson are in for some serious hurt later today in Omaha. The GT-Clemson series had always been a good rivalry. Respect between both teams was very healthy. Win or lose both teams could always hold their heads up high and shake each other's hands as they exited off the field.
Until Jacksonville.
The antics that occured during the Top of the 9th with Jack Leggett and Lee Hyde when Leggett told Hyde to take "as many practice pitches as you need. It's not like we're not beating the tar out of you or anything." has driven a once friendly-but-intense rivalry into the gutter. Similar to when Tommy Bowden decided to "go-for-it" on 4th down from the 2 against GT in 2003 when up 32-3, he was repaid in spades the next year with the "Miracle in South Carolina".

in the nuts ten years ago during a weekend series we had with tech. Then after he DDTd the Umps, Nomar then proceeded to verbally abuse every woman and child in the stands with four-letter expletives that, as a God fearing man, I would dare never to repeat again.
I wasn't there but someone told me it happened and it was unprovoked. A story like that has GOT to be TRUE! b/c of that incedent, and your classless players, The Glove are OFF! I will never forget that day that my friend told me about.

And the Tigers came around. Talk about antics: what is with your freshman first base jerk. The only forse with Luke was his hitting every Clemson run who made it to first. by the way 10 of them did so in the eith inning, but who is counting.
