will be Teeing It Up tomorrow @ The Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate @ The Cherokee Country Club - a Par: 71 Course that is 5965 Yards located in Knoxville, TN . . .

For the avid TIGER Golf Fan, you’ll notice that Our #1 Player, Savannah Grewal, is NOT listed in Our Team Entry. Savannah Qualified in Stage 1 of Q-School and has Progressed to Stage 2 . . . which will be held @ The Plantation Golf and Country Club (Venice, Fla.) from Oct. 17-20, 2023.

Yep. Too bad we can't get equity with the men's scoring. Will be a long day with this 3 hole scoring mess. Great start for Annabelle. All 3 with Melena bogeyed one hole or another. Melena's parents couldn't make the trip so they're having to suffer with the rest of us. It's cool and windy there so scores could be a good mixed bag. Glad you took that snapshot. May be really interesting. Darn Melena didn't birdie either of the b2b par 5's. Disaster start for Syd and Isabella. Chew it back one hole at a time.

Men started good but way too early...

without Savannah Grewal in the lineup . . . and as poorly as we played, we are only 5 shots out of 2nd Place!!!

Let’s look at and give Chloe Holder her due . . . Shooting 5 Under on the back nine WITH a HOLE IN ONE on the 176 yard, Par 3, 12th Hole!!! Her 2 Under on the day has her T-7th Place.

Let’s also salute Annabelle Pancake’s efforts, shooting 3 Under has her currently T-4th Place!!!

Kudos to Katherine Schuster, playing as an Individual, shot Even Par today and is T-20th Place.

We will play better as the Tournament progresses . . . for whatever reason, we typically start slow.

It was windy and seemed to affect every team not named ucf. Have to give them props. They played the par 4s masterful but they also made pars. Their final 3 holes were incredible... that tends to even out over 3 rounds. But the main thing is the team golf. Had one gal play a really bad round, along with their ind player. We had 3.

Just a bit of bad luck that 2 of our scorers started +3 on the opening 2 holes. Syd and izzy played pretty good after that.

It's tough decision on coach when you have so many that deserve to get a chance. Hope we can get Sydney Roberts sister. She's got potential to be one of our best.

Melena must still be battling her driving and consistency. I so want her to have a good round. She's capable of going low but she doesn't seem to score well on the par 5's and has trouble making birdies. Not there, so really don't know. I'm a bit surprised that Kat didn't get in the rotation and Melena as individuals. Kat as you know has had some good rounds... if she's in rotation, we're-1 for the tournament and in 2nd place.

Good round today and they're right back in it because even though ucf is 16, you have to think they'll come back soome.
