Pandora for music as I like their ease of use and curated selections. I can choose deep cuts, house, whatever and it’s seemingly always on point. I love me some Pandora, but I realize I am in the minority. I tried Spotify but didn’t like the platform. Now just do the free route and only listen to Rogan and occasional another podcast or two.

The U/I has progressively gotten worse and more convoluted, but I still like the service. Though, I'm sure the parity between it and Apple/Amazon/Google isn't extreme.

Spotify now blasts you with ads. YouTube app is the same. YouTube logged out of Google from a desktop is still good. But on the phone it opens the app and ads suck.

They're not ads. They're suggestions on what they want you to listen to.

It's frustrating as hayull and a huge pita for trying to quick setup tunes as you're pulling out of the driveway. It'd be a major improvement to go back to the UI five years ago.

The interface is not intuitive. It’s borderline difficult to use at times.
However, they are cheap, have a huge library, and I have lots of playlists made so I stick with them.

And it’s in there. Like the lossless audio and atmos offerings. The interface is clunky and the stations are terrible.
Pandora still has the best music curation I’ve experienced.

Especially since they're often currated by the artists themselves.

I have 1000+ CDs (honestly never counted) I have collected over 40 years or so. I have ripped many of them to digital format and put them in my Jeep stereo's hard drive, so there's 5000 or so songs in the bank. Just hit random shuffle play and that's a big fat awesome playlist.
I do have free Pandora app on my phone if I ever need to dial that up. Supersuckers Radio, Thin Lizzy Radio, Drivin n Cryin Radio, Motorhead Radio.....

I use Pandora and occasionally Amazon. I've tried other services, but I keep coming back to Pandora for the music and ease of use.

with each, and Spotify WAS the best of the three. Apple Music is the worst of the three from an algorithm standpoint, but I find the interface easy to use, etc.
Spotify had the best selection of music, there was more Grateful Dead on Spotify.
IIRC, 50% of my Google Music was stuff I had uploaded so I am not sure of their content. I think they went to Youtube Music as well, that is about when I switched.

Spotify's live music collection went through the roof. Panic, Dead, Cheese...all of em haha. they have a ton of live albums which is pretty much all I listen to, besides my playlists.

Already paying for Youtube premium with no ads so might as well listen to their music for free, too.
I've never used spotify...not once.
