And, this week we celebrate our young men who have gained a doorway into their dream of playing in the NFL. They may not realize it, but the hard work is just beginning. The opening of rookie camps, or in some cases UDFA camps, will make that abundantly clear. If getting to college and realizing everybody was just as good as you was a culture shock, imagine what getting to the NFL and realizing everybody is BETTER than you must be!
I also give thanks that hostilities in the Middle East seem to have cooled off, at least comparatively speaking, for a little while. They will pick up again, that has been the case for THOUSANDS of years. Enjoy the down times.
Enjoy the music, as well. A whole lot of posts with songs in them this week. Much better than posts with sniping and divisive remarks, wouldn't you say? Praise Jesus, Amen.

Our 3 year old grandson is spending the day with us so there will not be much rest as he is full of life. It is the Lord’s day and we can rest from our normal daily toils. I hope everyone has a great day!

Star is loading me into the car in 20 minutes, and we're headed to see the youngest grandson down in Clemson. He's almost 9 months and has been working hard to get up and walk.
Today, I venture out of the local area for the first time in around 5 months. A glorious day, indeed!
