and the list of Pro TIGER Golfers competing this week is short as the LPGA, LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR and the KORN FERRY TOUR are all “off” this week.

We will have 3 TIGERS in the Field:
Ben Martin
Jacob Bridgeman
Carson Young
The “coot”, Wesley Bryan, is also in the Field . . . as well as MyfavOrange® ‘s Weekly Pick, Jason Day.
Jason won this tournament last season . . . and Carson finished T-14th Place . . . both with good memories of this event!

Last week, Jacob held steady at 124 in fed ex points. He's in the area where he could easily move 10-15 spots up, or down, with a decent top 25 finish. Ben, Carson, and Lucas are pretty safe for now. Know it's still May, but tournaments are winding down. Jacob needs at least a top 10 finish to earn enough points to get in comfortably... and keep his card. That's priority 1.
He had such a golden opportunity last week. Raising a pint 🍺 that all our Tigers do well.

Ben is playing well. Keep it going Ben. He should easily have a kick in feather on 14. Jacob lost ground making par. He is struggling. Bogeys the easy 150 yard par 3. Hopefully he finds his driver and can find a few feathers coming home.
Looking like mfo did indeed make a good pick. Day likes that course.

It looks like Jonathan Nielsen has advanced to the Final Qualifying round. So far, that's our only Tiger I've seen advance out of the Local Qualifying round.

I am finding four other Tigers that failed to advance. However, Kyle Cottam is at least 1st alternate. Let me know if I missed any others. There are still many, many more local qualifiers remaining.

to Ben and Carson for putting themselves in contention.
Jacob at least didn’t play himself out of the Tournament. He is well within reach of tomorrow’s Cut, wherever it lands.

Hope so. Ben too. Jacob is fighting his driver and his distance control. His tee ball on 14 kinda took him out of a decent approach. Then he had a relatively easy shot to the green on 18 and cooked it 30 yards long. It's been a minute since Jacob has put up a 6 or 7 under... which he'll need tomorrow.
Hard to believe more than 1/3 of the field shot -4 or better. Won't shock me to see the cut go to -6.
