motion to dismiss Clemson's lawsuit by ACC filed on May 7, 2024

copy ESPN filing to with hold Contract from FSU which they claim is valid for Clemson.

On May 9, 2024 Clemson filed with the SC Supreme Court to add two attorneys to it's case against the ACC.

It looks like the ACC has filed to dismiss case claiming SC court has no jurisdiction. This will be over ruled the same as it was in the FSU case in which the ACC asked to dismiss case in Florida court.

I don't think the ACC s going to comply with turning over the ACC/ESPN media contract until the Pickens County judge rules on the ACC motion to dismiss. If he does not dismiss, then the exibit re. ESPN confidentiality of it's contract will be used to limit who sees it. The ACC/ESPN are not going to turn this over to Clemson until the ACC appeals are heard by the SC Supreme Court. I think that is why the two attorneys were added. They are probably licensed to practice law before the SC Supreme Court. Looks to me like this is going to be a long law suit and both sides are digging in. However, 99.99% chance it will be settled out of court and 100% that Clemson will leave the ACC.

By the way, this is the first time this has been posted to internet. I have been searching for days and have not found this. So, I finally went to Pickens County Court site.

The ACC basically cut and pasted their FSU dismissal plea to the SC law suit. Clemson will do the same FSU cut and paste as rebuttal. Judge in Pickens court will make same response and cite same reasons as Judge Cooper did in Fl to dismiss ACC filing. So, going forward we are going to have cut and paste arguments from all three sides.
