I'm pleasantly surprised to hear Saban as part of the broadcast team for tonight's NFL draft. I've never heard him be so personable and of course, in tune with the quality of the athlete being drafted. Normally we'd see him interviewed during or after their games, and he was the biggest grump in the room. We knew that he had football skills, but he actually is pretty smooth as an analyst. Who knew?

Everything I’ve seen from him since leaving Bama has been pretty level-headed and informative… I think his passion got mistaken for his personality in recent years
