I'm curious to see when they crack the lineup and when / if they make an impact this year

It's never good to count on freshman for an immediate impact, but I think that's where we are at WR this year.

As a fan, do you want to see them early knowing they will make some mistakes? Or save them till their ready?

To beat UGA, I feel like we have got to take some risks. I don't see us winning that game with a “a just don't make any mistakes” mentality. We’ve got to have playmakers making plays for a shot at the W

Immediately. Those 2 will be the best 2 outside receivers we have. We have slot guys and thats it

Sammy Watkins, Nuk Hopkins, and Justyn Ross were great as freshmen. Even Deon Cain and Walkon Renfrow had 5 TDs each as freshmen.

We've got some good history with freshmen skill players at Clemson. No worry.

Renfrow redshirted in 2014. His redshirt freshman year was his breakout year.

They'll see playing time immediately.

They are the playmakers we have been missing

I think it's premature to say they will be the difference in an upset win v. Georgia

But it is safe to say they will give us a fighting chance.

Incidentally , so will Bentancur. He was a consensus top 5 TE in the country
and makes this group as improved as the WR room.

Our best receivers the last two year have been freshman in Williams and Brown. I expect one of them to have a similar freshman year to those two.

since he got open, caught high % of balls. showed some speed & down field awareness and will be a must go to again.
