i've enjoyed watching this dude, going back to his time at Indiana. I hope he gets a shot, and I hope he's hugely successful

A lot of predictions for him to end up in Las Vegas, if so he could probably start this coming season, nothing there at QB.

I liked Penix long before this letter.

I would draft him in 1st round.

Maybe trade down and get him and some draft picks.

He seems to be very articulate, which already gives him a leg up on some of the competition coming out of college these days.

His history of injury cannot be ignored, but, as he points out, he has put a lot of successful play on film since the last one. And, to some extent, some of the focus on that predraft is just a smoke screen by some interested GMs, hoping to keep other teams at bay, so that can draft him late, on the cheap. His will be an interesting journey to watch, I think.

We only have to look back one draft to see how a QB can just totally destroy some preconceived notions. Remember when teams were shying away from CJ Stroud because of those low Wonderlic test scores? How many of those GMs who passed on HIM would like a do-over now?
