Stewart Aronson and Max Smith deliver comebacks on courts 5 and 6 from a set down to clinch the match!


this should put us in the last four in of the NCAA tourney now. Will move us up to around #47 in the rankings.

Did they not finish those matches since the team match was clinched?

Yes. In the tournaments they always stop on clinch

However those scores are not accurate cause they were the same for like the last 30 mins or so. So no clue what the actual scores were when it ended and if we were close to winning or losing on those courts

Or is doubles a combined 1 full point to whoever wins at least 2 of 3?

Yes doubles is 1 point only

It’s whoever wins 2 of the 3 doubles courts who gets the point and 1-0 lead heading into singles. So if you win doubles you only need to win 3 of the 6 singles while if you lose doubles you need to win at least 4 of the 6

I prefer the way they count all doubles matches in division II tennis.

so Vukadin actually finished it off at 3 and #6 did not finish but was close to making it 5-1 Tigers.

court #3 was tied at 5-5 in the 3rd

Great season for the freshman and the youngest player on the team. Only turned 19 last month. Big upside going forward
