a shame there is almost never one played in SC but then SC really has no golf courses to speak of (heavy sarcasm).

Cannot wait. I hate the men are starting Friday. I was hoping it'd be next week so we'd have it spread out. Non stop Thursday, Friday, and hopefully Saturday AND Sunday.

in the closing holes, but have rebounded nicely and still hold the Lead!!!

The closing Par 5 Hole will be key for Our Gals . . . Kudos to Sydney Roberts for birdying it to get back to even par for her day!

How bout them Tigers. Go izzy Go. It was a great round for Sydney. Perfect team golf. You only had one struggle, but that's ok. Wow, what a bounce back from the first several holes.

I was going to say exactly the same thing! It was team golf and everyone held up their end. Lots and lots of birdies and if we can stay away from the bogey man it only get better. Terrific start! Hope our guys are keeping track as they need to do the same thing!

What an exhibition they put on . . .
Isabella Rawl atop the Individual Leaderboad with her 5 Under Round!!!
Chloe Holder T-2nd Place with her 3 Under Day!
Annabelle Pancake recovering from a double bogey to shoot 2 Under . . . T-7th Place!
Sidney Roberts recovering from a double bogey and bogey on Holes 14 & 17 with a closing birdie to climb back to Even Par and a T-23rd Place!
Melena Barrientos struggled today (+4), but her scores will count in a huge way before this Tournament is over!!!

We could not have asked for a better Opening Round!!!
