DULUTH -- Finally, the wait is over.

Kennesaw Mountain now has a team state championship.

Nearly 24 years after opening its school doors, its boys soccer team made history by clinching the school's inaugural team title Friday with a 2-0 victory over Campbell in the Class AAAAAAA state championship game at Duluth High School.
