Would like to ask folks something about our attendance and

tickets. I see more and more people with tickets to sell around our gates. Even as a top ranked team. What is up with that. How do these ticket sellers have so many tickets? And does that mean once again a whole bunch of Coots will fill our stadium because of the tickets for sale out there?
This may not be a concern at all but it is a little troublesome to me since in 2010 I had so many Coots sitting around me in Death Valley.
Clemson fans used to be some of the best and most loyal in the nation. We would actually put 83,000+ in the stands. And that was a number with very few visitors. Yesterday for Homecoming we draw 68,000?

game since 1985. The only crowd that I have ever seen that small was against Wake in 1993 when Hatfield was in his last year. He was fired shortly thereafter.
The crowd was at least 80000 yesterday. The hill was packed at the start because so many students that are supposed to sit in the South upper deck convince the ticket takers at the student gate, who are students themselves, to let them in the lower deck. That's why you see the corners in South upper empty. I bet it will be that way for the USuCk game too.
I sit in North Upper. This side is nearly always more full than South upper. I'm watcing my DVR of yesterday's game right now, and there was a couple pockets of empty seats on the North upper yesterday, but not nearly enough to announce a crowd of only 68000.

There was at least 78,000 in attendence! No way there was 68k! You must of been at a different game!

As a whole attendance has been really good this year.

I would imagine yesterdays lackluster crowd was because it was against an awful MD team in combination with it being the first of 3 home games in a row. Also, Md brought about 15 fans. A lot of people have a hard time travelling 3 weekends in a row and if you are going to miss one, MD would be the one to miss. The NCST game will be packed.

Where did you get 68,000 from? Start from there. At least 75-76,000 plus
Obviously you did not attend the game.

Half the fans cleared out. Must have been more interested in tailgating......or beating the crowd home to watch other games.
