Bring in some guys to push the positions that need to be pushed including @ QB. Let the best man win and earn his spot. Why are we handing a spot like QB to a guy like Cade with no competition?

No portal QB who will bring meaningful competition will come because portal players want to start. That’s across the board at any position. They won’t go somewhere they don’t know they won’t start.

They expect to start and be paid to come. Dabo won’t do that. It’s simple-
1). Coach X says “come in and we’ll pay you a big 💰 of cash to start. If they don’t start so what.

2). Coach Dabo says “come in and compete for a spot (being honest) and if you do well after the first year at Clemson you could earn 💰. “

Where do you think elite portal playmaker is going 99 times out of 100?

Those wishing to push Cade should be careful what they wish for. Plenty of schools would love to have him if he gets pushed enough.
