Where would you rank Tajh on the list of best QBs at Clemson
Oct 9, 2012, 12:18 PM

My top three is easily Tajh, Charlie Whitehurst and Woody Dantlzer but I'm not sure exactly in what order I'd out the three.
Off of purely my first thought about this I'd say Tajh, Charlie,Woody in that order.
What say you?

What about Mike, Steve, Rodney, or Homer....

as in Eppley, Fuller, Williams, and Jordan. Might not have had great stats, but they put 'em in the W column.
Go Tigers !!!

The 3 you said, plus Steve Fuller and Nealon Greene . One could argue for Rodney Williams, maybe not for athletic ability, but for running the offense and wins

Chris Morocco was a very good qb who doesn't get the recognition he probably deserves because he only started one year.

Woody, Tajh, Charlie... Simply by how much direct influence they have or had on winning games.
Woody's running ability and ability to make something out of nothing won a lot of games that we would not have won without him.
Tajh is starting to make more "something out of nothing plays" with his feet. Some are passes that he keeps the play alive so its not just on his running ability.
Charlie won games for Clemson but many times he was the distributor to playmakers. Gets edged by Tajh in my opinion because of taking 4 years to achieve similar stats.

Glad you mentioned those guys; they are worthy, but remember that they all had very stout defenses helping them out.

not that it's his fault, but........

I can't bring myself to rank a Clemson QB #1 in clemson history when they've never beat USC.........again nothing against tajh, but "clemson history" and "beating USC" use to go hand in hand
he's up there, but can't put him #1

Woody was a great athlete but no way you can put him
Oct 9, 2012, 1:07 PM

ahead of Charlie as a QB. Woody could run and had moves to just completely break defenders ankles. But he wasn't a true QB. I think Boyd is a better QB than Woody would have been in Chad's system. I would put Woody and Denard Robinson in the same category....Great Athletes, Good team leaders and Average QB.

Take Rodney 2nd as a winner. Charlie 3rd strictly for the 4-0 record vs SC.
Tajh has a real good chance to get into the top 3 by the time his career is over.

Jordan. Also, Whitehurst and Dantzler, and Rodney (a winner) You can put Tajh anywhere in there except first which belongs to STEVE FULLER.
