78 ND put us on the national stage in a huge way, 81 UNC was the springboard to the National Championship.

I think #5 vs. Miami is a little suspect. Yes, it was a road victory vs a #10 team, but I got to think Clemson vs Tennesee in Atlanta or Tommy Bowden's first win over a #3 ranked FSU team have to be there.
My personal favorite games are Gaines Adams at Wake, Woody Dantlzler in OT vs Georgia Tech, and the game winning FG vs Texas AM. Lets not forget Will Proctor leading us to victory at FSU (JDs long run to seal that deal was beautiful and Tommy Bowden ditching the PAT was classic)

1986 vs UGA - Treadwell on the gun at Athens
1987 vs UGA - Treadwell with 3 seconds at DV
1978 vs MD - for ACC & as good as game gets 28-24 us
1979 vs ND - beat the Irish at South Bend on SR Day
Beatin coots is expected and bowl games are always special and not included except for NC game.
