Love seeing these ladies being honored even if this season was a grind for them. My question is this to those more in the know than I. Will Valerie Cagle come back next year? She is listed as a Junior so I imagine it's the old Covid year clause. Does she graduate or play another. I don't know the NIL for Softball, but if there ever was a lady who deserves to be paid, it's been her over her Tiger career. Yeah, not her best year this one, but she has been one of our beat athletes since dare I say TL left. Just my .02 cents.

Valerie has no eligibility left beyond this season. She played from 2020-2024 and thus used her 4 years plus the COVID bonus year. I think she will finish her master’s degree maybe this semester or in the summer.
