Splitting hairs. Was Clement’s quote a personal thought or did it represent Clemson’s official position on the agreement?

"it stabilizes the conference long term" was said in 2016.
One might view 8 years with huge movements in conference realignment period is long term.

That was the expectation but it doesn't seem to have held up.

under false conceptions.
The league's brief today reeks of spin from the start. I think they're screwed, and likely we waited to do this until we had enough Tiger in the tank on the negligence side to pounce.
If UNC and their legal bonanzas get in this mix with - we golden. They're superstars at this.

Thanks, ESPN, for doing your part and then some to ruin college football.

It's not ESPN's fault that the ACC doesn't draw as many viewers & ad dollars.

Both sides negotiated their best deal. The ACC got what it's worth, not what the SEC or B1G is worth. The valuable ACC signatories (especially FSU & Clemson) were fools for agreeing to be tied up for so long with no escape clause.
A large part of the problem is that most of the ACC schools don't invest-in or care much about football.

There may be a case in New York that provides president that fulfilling the terms of a contract does not make it fair deal.

outcome. That is the crust of that issue.
This issue is different, but contract law will weed out what is what.

Ain't this the 2nd response for the ACC in NC as response from 1 in FL and 1 is SC.
How are my counts?
