The cream will rise to the top. I hope at least one emerges with blazing speed! Someone (or a few) will emerge in Spring or Fall practice and RB will not be a problem in2024. It will be interesting for CJ Spiller to find the diamond 💎
We will miss Shipley, just like we miss TE…..
Go Tigers!

Thank you Ship for all your efforts! God bless your future endeavors. Grateful that we think Mafah is staying. Now we need the counterpunch, and it sounds like we have some good candidates.
Go Tigers

Totally agree. DZ getting to see Bowl prep and early intro to our blocking scheme and playbook. Have extremely high hopes for Haynes. But wouldn't shock me if Adam's emerged as rb2.

I'm gonna miss Shipley, he was a great player on and off the field and a true leader, and I hope him the best in the NFL. However I do think the better player returned to Clemson and is playing next year. Love me some Mafah! We'll be aight!

Shipley is a definite “throwback” football player. Don’t see many of these today for sure.

Hoping to see more Keith Adams Jr. next year! He may not have the moves that Shipley does but I love the way he runs down hill.

Wish Shipley the best and look forward to seeing how our young backs + Phil respond to the opportunity.

While it's always concerning to lose two of your top 3 running backs

in one offseason, I believe we will be fine here. I feel that Mafah was our best running back, and I like what I've seen from the younger guys in limited action.
The keys to our rushing success will be improvement from our offensive line as well as proper game planning from our offensive staff. If those improve, I believe our running backs will be good.

Excited about this RB room. Mafah is agile and powerful, Hammerhead is a pounder, J Haynes and J Green and quick and versatile. Eziomume, we’ll see. Especially with the Js being under recruited, excited to see what they do.

I love Ship and what he brought to the table for us, but I think the offense flows alil more efficient with Mafah being the primary back and not having to split time....we should be a run first offense anyway until the passing game returns to form. I really like Adams running style, I think it'll be a good battle for the 2 spot with him and Haynes.

Will underachieved partially due to poor offensive line and his inability to handle his emotions! I hope he does well in the pros.

Will needs to be the center of attention for his ego. He will not have that in the NFL and will be a bust

im not sure why theres so much concern about the RB room

plenty of experience with Mafah, couple guys who have been with program for a year, big time incoming talent... seems pretty ideal
id rank RB room in better position than any other on offense

Thank you Will Shipley for set an example, and choosing Clemson being a great player and a captain. I wish you the best in the NFL knowing you could do just about anything you set your mind to do. I look forward to seeing you play in the future.
