SRS, I want to see them though. I have a friend who saw them at Red Rocks. Their dad came out on stage and they sang old hymns for a few songs which might be weird depending on your mood. But they said it was EPIC.

VT again. Florida had kicked the #### out of Scar. I was really drunk, hanging out with UGA Fan, and they seemed to be having a blast on stage. This was part of the Southern Ground Festival, which now seems to be defunct.

They bore me to freaking tears. But, they are nice guys. I spent almost an hour chatting with them outside on the sidewalk at a Dirty Guv's show in Charlotte and never knew who they were until the show started and they got a shout out from the band.

You just balked, and the runner scored from third.
Aug 6, 2015, 11:14 AM

You have to come to a complete stop when you are coming set. Else, it's a textbook balk. Maybe in the next thread, you'll do this, and you'd still be leading. Right now, the game is tied, and you don't have your best relief pitcher available due to mild tendinitis in his elbow. You may want to hold the runner close at first, because he's a speedster, and he'll be looking for an opportunity to take 2nd and put himself in scoring position.

They seem like they'd be really good live

I saw them on the Grammys Award Show a few years back and they were by far the best musicians there.
My ex bought me tickets to see them a couple of years ago up here in Bloomington, IL, but it snowed like 2 feet the day before and they had to cancel. We ended up going to see JJ Grey, Anders Osborne, Luther Dickinson, and Marc Broussard on the Southern Soul Assembly tour instead.

The wife saw them at Skunkfest back....

when they were just a bunch of kids. About 4 years later we saw them in G'vegas, and left before the show was over. Too much screaming and yelling from both the band and the young girls.
The wife says they had completely changed in the interim.
That said, they are incredible musicians when they just play. Cut out the screaming b.s.
Just an opinion

I was a fan before, but that was the first I saw them live. Highly, highly recommend, but you'll want to be familiar with their music to get the most out of it.
They go deep into the playbook, so it's possible you may only hear a few songs you know if you're only listening to their "hits". The smaller the venue and the more devout the fans, the more likely they will play obscure stuff. They did three nights in Red Rocks without repeating a song.
I'd suggest going back through 10-12 recent set lists to get a feel for what they might play.
If you're more than cursorily interested, happy to send you a list of the stuff that most of their "fans" know by heart.
