...until getting gut-punched at the end of the Pitt game.

Per Brando, Clemson is a team with great defense, which is what you need in a tournament setting. What they don't have is consistent offense. How they react to the Pitt game will be interesting.

BTW, he said NC State was a real dark horse because of their tourney history when they were overlooked.

Other than Va. Tech you can make a fairly reasonable case for any of the other teams getting hot and making a run in the tourney---should be a lot of fun if you're not a coach!
