Thoughts on Basketball...

Mar 4, 2014, 8:43 AM

1- It is nice to see the emergence of a second scorer. Rod Hall and Harrison have played great in the past few games and let's hope they continues.
2- It would be nice to get some scoring off the bench from Roper or somebody other than just the starters.
3- It is nice to see hustle from these guys on a game to game basis. Definite improvement from last year.
Let's cheer our Tigers on in the next two weeks and get a tourney bid! Go Tigers!

yes it would but Ropers minutes have dwindled to a precious few. it almost seems Ajukwa is getting those at least for home games

I'm not sure what's up with Roper......

Perhaps he is still experiencing some ill-effects from his health related issues but his playing time has decreased significantly.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Roper's confidence is shot. Throw in his short stature that

allows teams to trap him easily and his lack of ball handling skills and it seems unlikely that he will emerge as that guy that can hit some shots in crunch time. It will be next year before we have any more bench help.

If Harrison and Hall and Nnoko can continue to improve their consistency and KJ can improve his shot selection, we can be a pretty good team, but we'll have to play our starters a ton of minutes.

Great to see these Tigers grow - K.J., Rod, Harrison, and

Bloss isnt bad around the basket and rebounding. I was hoping he would have a little more of a jump shot than he has but there is still time to get that going

Bloss has the talent, now it is time for consistent hard
