me to go buy #### for the kids that she knew about weeks ago and said she would take care of. If she had told me to get them, they would have been delivered to my porch WEEKS AGO via Amazon. Now I have to walk into a ####### store TODAY to ####### buy stuff.
It's like she doesn't know me at all.

reinforcing that her irresponsible behavior is ok and that you will always be there to help when she is too lazy to be responsible.
Tell her to ####off and go get it herself. Or the kids won't have a christmas.
Trust me on this. It's all about teaching them to fish instead of catching fish for them.

for the kids, from him. We already had to wrap up gifts that we bought for them and say they were from him for last night's get-together. Now I will be forced to go shopping to replace those gifts, etc.... I'd be alot more pist if'n I wasn't going to skim alot off the top of that money for other things. $20 is $20 (minus 38%, nomsayin?)

You are a better man than me. I'd tell him no thanks.

Wouldn't bail that guy out either. Fugg that. I'd be all like "Naw man, it's all good. You don't have to get the kids anything."
Him: "But what do I tell them?"
Me: "That other things are apparently more important? I dunno. Never been in that spot before. Good luck though."

I don't HAVE to.

I'll do it, though. I will just intentionally do it wrong so that this will never happen again. Kind of like me shrinking her sweater in the dryer, or loading the dishwasher wrong, or decorating the Christmas tree. I do it wrong once, I never have to do it again.

to get to Academy. I was sent there to buy a football. I walked out with 6 boxes of .270 ammo, a Red Rider bb gun for the boy, a pink bb gun for the girl, 6000 copper bbs, targets that are shaped like ground hogs, a buck knife for me, some cherry wood for smoking, a Clemson Tervis, and a hand pump for inflating a football, BUT NO FOOTBALL.
This is going to work out perfectly.

It's pretty bad now, I wouldn't venture back over there.
