Tajh misinformed us OR he was misinformed since no 3rd round

pick as he felt would happen.
Seems now, with no mention of him at all, that he's not going to be picked until late rounds.
A shame..since he's a great young man, broke many Clemson & ACC records..gave Sammy, Nuk (and maybe Bryant) chances to become millionaires.
GoTiGERS!

So sad, he deserve better. Without a good QB Sammy and Brandon couldn't be millionaires.

he is a very good player. NFL teams don't draft very good - they want excellent.

sorry to say this but as much as i love Tajh, a lot of his production came from throwing to two of the top recievers in the NCAA. It would not surprise me if both Hopkins and Watkins end up future Pro Bowlers. I think Tajh has a very pretty deep ball but he really struggled with ball placement. If you go back and watch the swing passes out the back field, He was never able to put together a consistent lead on the backs and receivers. Many times he had mental breakdowns and forgot his safety valves failing to work through his progressions. I still love Tajh Boyd but in the NFL if you don't consistently work through your progressions you will get ate alive. Tajh has great physical tools but his mental aspect is behind which leaves him as a project. I think he goes 5 or 6th round due to very heavy reciever, oline and CB draft with not many teams still actually needing a QB. I would love to be wrong though.

gort to Clemson. You are exactly right and I've been saying it for years. I wish him the best and firmly believe he will be a success in life regardless of what he does for a living! Unlike some of our other in state players, he got a quality education!

I don't think he misinformed us. He shared his opinion on his draft status based on what his heart said and what those around him were telling him. Like most successful people he probably surrounds himself with people who believe in him and they were telling him that. I wish nothing but the absolute best for Tajh

While it is a shame, just look at some of the surrounding talent that was also not picked in the first three rounds: Conner Shaw(SC).Never lost to Clemson. A.J.McCarron(Bama).Two national titles. Aaron Murray(UGA).Played for an SEC Championship. Zack Mettenberger(LSU).Won an SEC Championship. All four of these guys, while great college talent really don't fit, imo, the mold of the prototypical NFL QB. Neither did any of the three qb's taken in the first round, imo, and only time will tell what kind of careers those guys will have. As far as being misinformed,I think of a lot of it was what Tajh was told prior to the season, but the season didn't pan out as any of us had hoped.

Remember when Kurt Warner wasn't drafted at all. He seemed to work his way up the chain from European league and grocery store stocker to Superbowl MVP. You can't measure one's heart....
