T.Dye to E.Carolina per Ryan Bartow - 247

May 7, 2017, 8:30 AM

Clemson graduate transfer running back Tyshon Dye is heading to East Carolina.

247Sports' insider Ryan Bartow broke the news on Dye, who chose ECU over Miami. Dye visited both programs and stopped by East Carolina during the spring game weekend.

Dye marks the second graduate transfer of Saturday for ECU, joining Minnesota defensive end Gaelin Elmore. Both prospects will enroll this summer and be eligible immediately. They will each have one season of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-11, 215-pounder dealt with injuries during his Clemson career, rushing for 351 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.5 yards per carry over his three seasons with the Tigers.

I'm really rooting for Dye to have a healthy and productive season...kid really deserves it. Go Tigers!
