to another sweet 16 after an elite 8 last year. And they just took the doubles point at two-time defending national champion Virginia in the sweet 16. If they pull off this shocker...

Josh Goffi is one of the best coaches in the nation for what he has done at SC. (He played at Clemson in the early 2000s.

After Chuck McCuen retired and before John Boetsch(Alum) and Robbie Weiss,what's your feeling do you personally think if given chance to take over the program do you think that Josh Goffi would have taken it?Sure would have liked to have seen what he could have done based solely on all that he has accomplished at South Carolina in his 14 seasons.

That was around 2016, before Goffi had really gotten things rolling at SC yet. (they were just decent then). He was a Duke assistant before the SC job so got some good ACC experience there.

But late 2010s is when he really started to blossom at SC and solidify himself there and really become a Gamecock.

It's funny cause he and Boetsch were actually teammates on the 2003 team.

by 2019, when Weiss was hired, I think it was too late
